The “Music Icons” auction is going to be held live on May 29th and 30th from the Hard Rock Cafe Times Square in New York City. Online bidding opens April 27th, and this year the auction will feature over 800 items!
KISS fans will be keeping an eye on Ace Frehley’s 1975 Gibson Les Paul that he played throughout his career, it was really his “go-to” when it came to playing live. The guitar is expected to fetch between $400,000.00-$600,000.00!
Other guitars that will be featured include Metallica’s Kirk Hammett’s “Ouija” ESP Custom, Stevie Ray Vaughn’s 1969 Guild F-412, and Izzy Stradlin’s 1987 Gibson HR Fusion 1 Izzy guitar.
