When only seconds count, good people step up. That was the case recently, when a strong gust of wind blew a baby stroller, WITH THE BABY STILL STRAPPED INSIDE OF IT, into Lake Michigan. I cannot begin to imagine the panic that set in for that parent. Thankfully a man nearby jumped into the freezing water and rescued the infant! 30-year old, Lio Cundiff was talking on the phone nearby when he saw the stroller falling into the lake. Without thinking, he took off his jacket and dove into the water, saving the baby! I pray that if I’m ever in that situation, I’d do the same thing. Your adrenaline would already be heightened and your gut instinct would be to want to help save whoever had fallen into the water…but would you actually be able to jump in?
