Postcards. Remember those? Don’t see them much these days.
But imagine getting a postcard from someone you know, and the bizarre thing about it is: That person has passed away! That person is no longer with us!
It happened to a group of students from the University of Wisconsin. Here’s the story: A former professor at the University named Don Glickman passed away in November at the age of 94. Before he passed away, he gave his daughter a list of his favorite students he had in class over the years. He told her to send them all a card with his photo on it and the following inscription: “If you’re reading this, I’m dead and I really liked you.”
