Well, you know how the saying goes: “Never Say Never”. A band is FINALLY getting their record released 58 years after they cut it! Here’s the story:
A music promoter by the name of Marcus Pollard found an old, vinyl album record in a thrift store a few years back, thought it looked cool, and decided to buy it for $4.00!
It didn’t have a name on it, but Marcus really liked the songs and the sound of the album, and started to try to track down the band.
He found them…..a decade later! The band was called the Glass Cage. They toured around Canada in the late 60’s, but never hit the big time! Norm Roth, one of the band members who Marcus tracked down, is now 77 years old and works as a warehouse manager.
Marcus and Norm looped in all the members of Glass Cage, and now they’re releasing the album 58 years later!
It’s called “Where Did The Sunshine Go?”, and you can CLICK HERE/CTV.NEWS.CA to read more and find out how to get a copy if you’re interested…….
