This is an absolute nightmare.
You know, when it gets cold there are some tips you need to know!
You know, like leaving the water dripping to prevent frozen pipes, opening cabinet doors, insulating exposed pipes, running ceiling fans in reverse to circulate warm air, and so on and so forth.
And if you head out to avoid the winter weather, you can turn your heat down, but don’t turn it all the way off. A guy in Canada decided to turn the heat completely off in an attempt to save money and he turned the apartment into an actual “Ice Castle”!
Not good. The temperature inside got so frigid that the water pipes burst and started shooting water into the apartment. Then, that water froze too!
The result? The walls, the furniture, and even the appliances were covered in thick ice! Abstract ice sculptures were everywhere and the floor was covered by about a foot of ice!
