Talk about your ‘fifteen minutes of fame’! A woman who goes by ‘Romeo’ on social media recently posted a short video, singing a little diddy about her love of Dr. Pepper. She tagged the soda company, thinking perhaps they’d see and hear her. Well, Romeo’s video went viral with over 42,000,000 views!! Dr. Pepper was impressed and put her singing to some music, creating the commercial you see below. In this day and age of social media, ANYONE has an opportunity to not only be a star, but potentially find a new career! Think about it…this young lady could find herself working for an ad agency. If you post on social media and want to get a company’s attention, tag them. Now, they’re more inclined to respond to a ‘positive’ social media post, which again, could lead to big things for you, but many company’s will also react even to a negative post online (if they’re smart they will).
@romeosshow @Dr Pepper please get back to me with a proposition we can make thousands together. #drpepper #soda #beverage ♬ original sound – Romeo
