Through many health challenges and finally getting sober, Phil Collins has survived. And now it appears he’s hoping to return to the studio and possibly make new music. On a recent episode of the BBC Era’s podcast, Collins commented that he would like to go into the studio and “have a fiddle about and see if there’s more music… you’ve gotta start doing it to see if you can do it.” But he also opened up to the BBC Radio 2, discussing the 24-hour live-in nurse that helps the singer/drummer make sure he’s taking his medications on time. Collins has unfortunately had multiple health issues over the years, even five knee surgeries which have limited his mobility. But all of that said, the drummer still seems to have a great outlook as he approaches 75 at the end of this month.
