He’s lived the true, ‘Rock Star Life’, that’s for sure! Bret Michaels, the frontman for Poison, is now sharing his life story, again, with another memoir and a biopic that we can expect in 2026. Now true Bret Michaels fans know that he put out his first memoir, ‘Bret Michaels: Auto-Scrap-Ography’ just five years ago. So, what new tales will he tell now? In his recent Facebook post, the rocker writes, “UNBROKEN Then, Now and Forever – the biopic and the book officially coming 2026. If I can survive rocking out on shag mustard-colored carpet on my first guitar (“technically a ukulele” lol) and remain as excited now as I was then, and survive the highs, the lows, good people and the downright maliciousness in the business I’ve chosen to be in and still get to rock with my friends with a smile on my face on the stage today. That is THE IT FACTOR – the intangible spirit that keeps me unbroken!!!”
You’ll recall that Bret has dated some of the hottest women in Hollywood, including Pamela Anderson back in the 90s. Perhaps he’ll ‘tell all’ in his upcoming book? And consider his health issues too. Bret is diabetic, had a very serious brain hemorrhage, a stroke and was treated for a hole in his heart. And he keeps on tickin’…yea, I’d say he’s ‘unbroken’.

Michaels sat down and talked with legendary news anchor, Dan Rather, last year and opened up about the highs and lows of his career:
