
Could television’s most famous gang of lifeguards be heading back to beach?
That could be the case. Splash! According to Freemantle, which owns the rights to the series, a new reboot of Baywatch is in the works. Let the slow “mo” shots of lifeguards running on the beach begin!!
There are currently no creatives or actors attached to the reboot. Baywatch, which premiered in 1989 and ran for 11 seasons, set off a spinoff series and a movie. Remember the movie with Dwayne Johnson that went over like heavy sand?
The series made international stars of the likes of David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.
