Imagine walking into a store to pick out a birthday card when you spot a section of greeting cards titled, ‘SCHOOL SHOOTING’. Yea, sympathy cards for those who have been affected by a school shooting. Let that sink in for a moment. It was an experiment of sorts that was created a few years ago by a group called Change The Ref. They’ve brought the video back in light of more mass shootings that have tragically been happening again. The idea is of course to make you uncomfortable and perhaps voice your opinion to law makers on this subject. It’s an incredibly sobering thought that our society would ever get to a place that we just ‘accepted’ shootings in schools or any public place, taking the lives of innocent bystanders.
