The “wall”. We all hit it. We’re all gonna hit it. It’s just a question of “when?”
And now we know when that will be…….The average worker will hit the “wall” at 1:04pm……Yeah, right after lunch….right after you get settled in and are trying to get back to work and be productive…..ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
The top reasons we’re tired include bad sleep, long hours, and our kids demanding so much of our energy. But, the good news is there are ways to combat this fatigue…..and they include:
1. Chit-chatting with a coworker. 49% of people said random conversations with friends at work tends to perk them up.
2. Getting up and walking around for a few minutes.
3. A change of scenery.
4. Leaving your desk to get coffee or food.
5. Having a structured routine in general. So you can tick things off your list, and know you’re getting through your day.
