This is just one of several boxes I have, filled with useless power cables, phones, and other electronic junk I no longer need, but can’t just throw out in the trash. That last part of the sentence was important, because you may not realize that you’re not suppose to discard electronics with your weekly trash. So where do you take it? How about the Indy Zoo, this Saturday March 13th. From 9 to 2, they’ll be accepting a long list of electronic items that will then be properly disposed and recycled. Good on the Zoo for being a leader in promoting ‘eco responsibility’. Definitely check the list, because they aren’t taking LARGE appliances and only certain electronics will be accepted.
Kickstart your spring cleaning next week during our Power Recycling Day! Bring all your outdated & unwanted electronics from 9am-2pm on March 13. Our partners at @TRecyclers will dispose of them all in an eco-friendly way. ♻️ Details » https://t.co/dkYsenyoil pic.twitter.com/tkBnbLib0a
