Music venues, businesses and even homes in Indianapolis and across the U.S. will be going RED tonight (September 1st) to help raise awareness for the live event industry that has been dramatically impacted by the pandemic. It’s a billion dollar industry that has shut down. Think about it: we aren’t going to any concerts or live events this year to stay safe, but thousands of people in that industry are without any income right now. You can show your support for the RED ALERT RESTART campaign by putting a red bulb in your porch light, or grab that red spotlight you usually wait til December to put up, and shine it on your home or business. Hey, we love the live events, so let’s show some love for those who make it happen!
You can also reach out to your legislators and tell them you support the RESTART ACT Congress is debating right now. If passed, it would provide financial assistance for those in the music industry who are without work during the pandemic. To find your representative, click here: FIND YOUR LEGISLATOR
