Music icon, David Bowie, has lost his fight with cancer after 18 months. He died peacefully on Sunday with his family nearby. Bowie was only 69, and had kept his illness private. I, like many of his fans, had several favorite songs from the legend. “Modern Love” and “Let’s Dace” were two favorites. Loved his 80’s song “Blue Jean”. Believe it or not, Bowie only had two #1 songs in America: “Fame” in 1975, and “Let’s Dance” in 1983. Other Bowie classics include “Space Oddity”, “Changes”, “Rebel Rebel”, “Young Americans”, “Golden Years”, “Heroes” and “Under Pressure” with QUEEN.
How about his famous Christmas duet “Little Drummer Boy” with Bing Crosby?

One of my wife’s favorite movies is Labyrinth, which came out in 1986. It was directed by the late Jim Henson, and featured his puppet creations and Bowie. So many memorable lines!

Bowie also appeared in other films including Zoolander, The Prestige and The Last Temptation of Christ.
He was more than just a singer, songwriter or actor. He was entertainment legend. Thank you David Bowie for bringing your fans much happiness and memories. Rest in peace~
