…”It’s very hard to be married to a Beatle”, so says Heather Mills. She actually said, “losing my leg was easier to cope with…”. Heather lost part of her leg back in 1993 in an auto accident, but bounced back competing in competitive skiing. And she’s pretty good, ranked 28th in the world slalom. But Heather said her troubles being married to Paul were also shared by other women who took up relationships with others of Beatles fame. Commenting to the Daily Mail.com, she said, “Linda had it tough, Yoko [Ono] had it tough and what happened to me after the divorce… I felt I lost everything. I spent my whole life raising money for charities, and I was asked to leave every charity because I became poison. … Everything I had been was taken away.” Seeing the upside to her tragedy, Heather described how losing part of her leg had its advantages.
“I never saw that by losing a leg I was in any way losing my femininity. Even now, I’m 47 and if I see a hot man I know I can have him. I might not want him but I can have him. I’m not embarrassed about my leg. In fact, a good chat-up line from me is, ‘How do you fancy massaging my stump?’”
Now there’s a pick up line that NO ONE ever thought they’d hear in a bar~
