In broadcasting, I have met and worked with a lot of very talented, professional and courteous people in the media. But I have also dealt with my share of reporters like Britt McHenry from ESPN. Why do some think they’re so much better than everyone else? Watch as she shows her true colors in this video. I’ve had bad service before and I was direct with that employee, but I’ve NEVER said, ‘Do you know who I am??!” or stooped to personal insults. And then to hear Britt go through the motions of “apologizing” after the video went viral is laughable. She doesn’t mean a word of it. It’s damage control. Treat people the way you want to be treated, regardless if you’re a broadcaster, a parking lot attendant, a doctor, a member of Congress or the man bagging your groceries.
