The Beast is back and better than ever! As Kings Island is set to celebrate it’s 50th anniversary this year, fans will notice a few enhancements to the legendary coaster. As WCPO reports, the first drop will be steeper going deeper into the tunnel. Also, The Beast has broken its own record by adding a couple of extra feet. It appears with new tracking, they’ve smoothed out some areas that were noticeably rough over the last few years. And yes it still holds the record for being the world’s longest wooden roller coaster! Opening day is April 16th!
