Miley Cyrus was forced to make a detour between stops on her South American tour this week after her plane was struck by lightning mid-flight. And she has video to prove it.
The singer and actress posted a message Wednesday to her fans on Instagram, telling them that the plane had been struck by lightning. The post included a video of a flash of lightning seen from one of the plane’s windows. She also assured fans that everyone onboard was safe.
Weather conditions were so bad in Paraguay that the first day of the festival was canceled. That means that other artists including Foo Fighters were unable to perform.
