…Kid Rock is what you would call patriotic, and when someone puts down our troops or a fallen hero, best to watch out. Rock recently weighed in on some of the controversy surrounding the movie “American Sniper”, the true story of US Navy Seal, Chris Kyle. Film director Michael Moore and actor Seth Rogen both had made comments on social media that some say were disrespectful of Kyle and our military. Kid Rock weighed in this week posting this message on his website:
“[Eff] you Michael Moore, you’re a piece of [crap] and your uncle would be ashamed of you. Seth Rogen, your uncle probably molested you. I hope both of you catch a fist to the face soon. God bless you CHRIS KYLE, Thank you for your service.”
Ouch! Hey, if you use social media like Facebook or Twitter at all, you know that once you post a comment, especially one that can be taken as even slightly controversial, you are gonna get attention, and not always the good kind. So here’s Seth Rogen’s follow up post, trying to do some damage control:

I highly recommend seeing “American Sniper”. It is NOT a political film by the way. It tells a soldiers story, a soldier that I personally believe was a hero. He saved lives. Yes, he took lives too. Bad lives. As the saying goes, war is hell. God bless you Chris Kyle, and thank you for serving your country.
