Apparently it took awhile for Prince to warm up to some people. Just ask Elton John. In a new book titled, Prince and the Parade and Sign O’ the Times Era Studio Sessions: 1985 and 1986, Elton shares details on their somewhat rocky friendship in the forward he wrote. He tells of meeting Prince at an L.A. restaurant back in the day, only to be snubbed, and then a second encounter backstage a few years later where Prince was playing a show in Vegas. That encounter went a little better with the famed musician inviting Elton to sing with him on stage. But as he writes in the forward, mid way through a Beatles song, Prince simply walked off the stage leaving Elton all by himself! Watch the video below and see the two share the stage in London…
