Never heard this before…..but iconic Guns & Roses guitarist, Slash, was ALMOST in the band Poison. Almost.
When the original guitarist for Poison left (for personal reasons), the band started auditioning guitarists along the Sunset Strip.
Slash was one of the guitarists who showed up and auditioned, and he was Bret Michaels first choice to replace the lead guitarist but Slash declined.
