A recent false report online incorrectly listed his date of death as September 17, 2026. That was last Thursday.
And as I mentioned, not true.
The misinformation was due to an automated data error or vandalism of a public information source.
Billy’s publicist, Claire Mercuri, quickly shut down the hoax!
The 77-year-old “piano man” has been recovering from normal pressure hydrocephalus, a brain condition, but he is actively doing physical therapy and is not life-threatened.
