The finalists are in for the National Toy Hall of Fame, Class of 2026: Tickle Me Elmo, Sorry, Care Bears, Bingo!, Pokemon Trading Cards, the board game Mouse Trap, Mahjong (what’s that?), Yahtzee, the slide, Bop It!, Monster High Dolls…uh, can we go back a couple, please. THE SLIDE?! The slide is not a toy, it’s an activity that usually ends up sending your child to the school nurse or an immediate care.
