“We will never forget”. 25 years later on the anniversary of 9/11, those four words are still as powerful and meaningful as they were when they were first said on that fateful day. An impressive and touching drone show took place in New York City recently, with 2,977 drones recreating the twin towers that were destroyed on September 11th, 2001. Each drone representing the 2,977 victims who were killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. It truly is emotional seeing this as we realize those towers were struck 25 years ago, today. As unbelievably difficult as that terrorist attack was on the U.S., it also brought us together. It changed how we saw one another. Not as Republicans and Democrats. Not by race, religion, gender or ethnicity. We realized we were in this fight and recovery, together. Tomorrow is never promised. That was a hard lesson to learn on 9/11 and a very important reminder today~
