Not too long ago, we chatted on the air about advice or opinions from Boomers that was spot on.
For example:
*People share too much on social media.
*Put your phones away at concerts.
*Paper menus are better than QR codes.
Just to name a few.
And earlier, I saw an article about “Boomer Advice That Is Really Unhelpful”. I mean, advice so bad it’s laughable! Here’s a few examples:
- “Just stop going to the movies and getting Door Dash, and you’ll be able to buy a house.”
- “Walk into a business, hand the manager your resume, and you’ll get hired.”
- “Find someone you can tolerate, start a family, and you’ll eventually fall in love.”
- “Spend $40,000 on your wedding because that’s what people do.”
- “Less than three cigarettes a day and you’re okay.”
