If you’re a fan of the legendary boxing movie, ‘Rocky’, do you really know the backstory on how it was created? Sylvester Stallone was only 29 and was certainly not a well known actor or an established writer. But in 1975, he wrote what is to this day, one of the most inspiring and blockbuster hits EVER. Stallone’s story has been turned into the movie, ‘I Play Rocky’. As you’ll see in the trailer below, movie executives loved the script that Stallone wrote but were dead set against him playing the lead role. Thankfully, Stallone stuck to his guns and the rest is history. It will show in theaters this November. Oh, and notice how much Anthony Ippolito, the actor who plays Rocky, sounds A LOT like him~
