I’m not always a fan of futuristic gadgets, especially certain aspects of A.I. (artificial intelligence). But here’s one time that ‘robots of the future’ may have saved lives. A couple of teenage boys in California were recently busted for allegedly drinking alcohol in one of the Waymo robotic cars, while also supposedly shooting toy guys out the vehicle windows (real smart and a great way to get shot!). Luckily, Waymo has onboard cameras and I’m sure microphones that captured the 15-year-olds acted like idiots. So when the Waymo support team caught wind of their activity, they contacted police and drove the vehicle to a nearby shopping center and parked the car. As you’ll see below, cops soon showed up and surrounded the vehicle. Again, saving lives~
