In our darkest moment’s, music can lift anyone’s spirits. Here’s proof, a school in Iowa wanted to show support for one of their students who’s battling cancer. Young, Eli Belser, is only 11-years old and is dealing with something no parent ever wants their child to face. It’s been a long journey for Eli, who’s been dealing with cancer treatment since preschool. But a nearby school wanted to show support by creating a challenge asking students to sing Journey’s famous hit, ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ and post it to social media. It caught on like wildfire! I absolutely love this story. A dear friend of mine was battling cancer recently and sadly has passed away. Cancer sucks. But this kind of story shows kindness still exists, and that music can help inspire and heal~
