Why do fans do this?
Have you ever been at a show where fans threw something up on stage? Or maybe at a show where some idiot had a laser pointer and was pointing it at the artists up on stage?
When “crap” like that happens, sometimes the artists are done. They’re leaving for good. Doesn’t matter if it’s half-way through the show or towards the end, they’re done!
And it happened recently at an Eric Clapton show. The band wrapped up their set, took their bows, and proceeded to leave the stage. While exiting the stage, an audience member threw a vinyl album at Eric, probably hoping he would sign it, but all it did was p*ss him off. And the band did not return for an encore.
