It takes a lot to make my jaw drop, but when I first laid my eyes on the ‘butt nut’, I did just that. Whoever gave it that nickname was spot on, as you can see below. The Smithsonian experts recently posted the video below online. They give the backstory on the coco de mer, a plant actually known as the Lodoicea, which produces the world’s largest seed, weighing in at a whopping 65 POUNDS!
