Imagine you’re at a concert, enjoying the music, when all of a sudden large, lighted, inflatable balls start getting tossed into the crowd! Fun right? Not according to one woman who claims she was at a Donny Osmond concert recently and was injured after being struck by one of the beach balls! According to reports, she claims after being hit in the head with the balls, she suffered traumatic retinal injury, head, and neck injuries. She’s now suing Donny Osmond, his production company, and Harrah’s Las Vegas where the concert took place. When I saw this video, I thought, ‘Wow, that looks like fun!’. It’s what you would expect at a concert, right? I’ve seen large inflatable beachballs being tossed around the crowd at shows at Deer Creek. Now, perhaps these ‘lighted’ balls like the ones used at Osmond’s concert, are a little heavier. I don’t know, I’ve never felt one or held one (that’s what she said).
