Now that the Winter Olympics are over, what other competitive events are there to look forward to? Well, get your bib overalls on, grab a beer, and get ready for some serious hillbilly fun! The Florida Man Games, also known as the ‘Redneck Olympics’ are back! Now these aren’t your typical ‘athletic’ events. There’s the “bullwhips and bad decisions” competition where contestants whip beer cans off their opponents’ belts. Or how about a grocery store fight simulation with contestants stocking up hurricane supplies into carts. I’m thinking we could create an ‘Indiana’ version of these Redneck Olympics! I’m picturing contestants in bib overalls, both men AND women. Plenty of space at the Indiana State Fairgrounds to hold these games. And think of the sponsors and prizes! Instead of medals, how about a gift card to Wal-Mart or a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer? Hoosiers would CRUSH it!
