Fellow Journey fans, we should have known better than to get our hopes up that Steve Perry would reunite with his band this year. Those were the rumors recently, were Neal Schon supposedly had been talking with Perry about the idea of him coming back to perform on the Journey Final Frontier tour. Let’s face it, that would be incredible! But as the old saying goes, ‘if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”. That ship has sailed. You’ll remember that Perry first left in the late 80’s to pursue a solo career and he had some personal family matters to tend to…and then again around ’98 after suffering a hip injury. So much for getting our hopes up~
