The fan favorite of the Olympics on Wednesday, February 18th, was a dog. Yes, a dog!
A dog ran onto the course during the women’s cross-country skiing on Wednesday! And he didn’t disrupt the competition or distract the skiers in any way, but he did follow two skiers across the finish line to the amusement of the crowd.
The dog is a Czechoslovakian wolfdog named Nazgul. He lives nearby, escaped from his house, and just wanted to check out the action. He loves being around people.
