There’s been a debate for many, many years as to whether Rap artists should be included in the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame. Gene Simmons recently gave his two cents and it’s the best explanation I’ve ever heard. He said, “I just want to know when Led Zeppelin is going to be in the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame. ‘Oh, you can’t do that.’ Oh, really? Music has labels because it describes an approach.” Gene is absolutely right! And it’s not a knock against Rap or Country or any other format. The committee that oversees the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame screwed up big time back when they allowed anyone in, despite not being of the Rock genre~
