Wow! This is wild! I mean, what are the odds?
Casey Chapman, from Bismarck, North Dakota, recently bought a house in Fargo that needed some renovations.
One of the projects that needed done, was redoing the floors. So, he hired contractors and when they were redoing the floors, they pulled up a floorboard and found some old newspapers underneath that were used for padding.
This is where the “hidden treasure” part comes in.
The newspapers were old editions of “The Fargo Forum” from 1946, and one of the segments had Casey’s Mom on the cover! She was the “Homecoming Queen” at North Dakota State that year and the paper covered it complete with a photo!
