Some of the greatest TV characters on sitcoms weren’t actually the main characters, they were the neighbor, or the person across the hall, or someone who always stopped by.
You know, like Cosmo Kramer on “Seinfeld”…….a perfect example. Or Urkel on “Family Matters”…….And don’t forget the Jeffersons on “All in the Family” or Lenny and Squiggy on “Laverne and Shirley”…………just to name a few.
