If you’ve ever ordered food at a takeout joint, you’ve heard employees shout out the order number. “Order 6 2!”. But after the insane fascination (mostly with kids and teens) of the numbers, ‘6 7’, In-N-Out burger chain has BANNED “67” from their number orders! Several videos have gone viral in which teenagers would gather at In-N-Out restaurants, waiting to hear the order, “6-7” be announced (see the video below). And I’m not talking about just a few teens, often it was close to A HUNDRED teenagers gathering in the eateries, anxiously awaiting the two most annoying numbers in history! Even Dictionary.com made ‘6-7’ their ‘Word of the Year’!! If you’re in the dark as to how ‘6 7’ became so popular, count yourself blessed! It all started over the song, “Doot, Doot (6 7)” by rap artist, Skrilla. Which is more annoying, hearing kids today say, “6 7” and snickering, or the “Wassup” phrase from the 90s?
