Seems like on any given day, there’s a whole lotta bad things happening in the news. Locally, nationally, globally. And even for each of us, we have good days, but they’re often overshadowed by the bad. Well a small school district out of Ohio recently set up a microphone in a hallway at one of their schools. On the mic stand was a simple note that invited any student to share something good that’s happened to them. Now, knowing most teenagers, the idea was probably made fun of by some. I can hear some kids saying that’s lame. But as it turns out, the social experiment was a hit! I absolutely love this story and what this school has done! More schools, especially here in Indiana, need to follow suit and do this. Students need positivity. They need to share happiness, especially with the pressures they’re often going through.
