If you’ve ever been pulled over for a traffic violation, you’re gonna love this story! A California driver was recently stopped by police and had a brilliant idea for getting out of the ticket. He handed the cop a ‘Get Out Of Jail Free’ card from the Monopoly game! Ha! The Fullerton Police Department posted the photo below with this caption: “The officer had a good laugh, reminded the driver that while creativity is appreciated, it’s not exactly a legal defense, and told him to save the card for a rainy day. He left with a smile—and a real citation.” Oh come on, Deputy Barney Fife!! It wasn’t like the motorist was going 100 miles per hour in a school zone! The cop could have easily given this guy a warning. Well, it was worth a try~
