A Turkish court recently ordered a man to pay his ex-wife damages after he saved her number as “Chubby” in his phone’s contact list. The compensation was for both material and moral damages.
The nickname came to light during court proceedings in divorce court. The woman claimed the nickname was degrading and damaging to the relationship.
