It’s been a helluva ride for Billy Joel. The highs…the lows. He considered by his peers as one of the best story tellers and performers. In the soon to be released documentary, ‘Billy Joel: And So It Goes’, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and Pink give their thoughts on what Billy has meant to music. The film also dives deep into the very beginning of Billy’s music career, which as he describes, started when he was a small child learning classical music. It’s no secret that Joel has led a hard life at times with emotional issues including suicide attempts and intense depression. As you’ll hear in the trailer below, Billy says, “I think music saved my life. It gave me a reason to live”. ‘Billy Joel: And So It Goes’ starts steaming on HBO/MAX this Friday July 18th.
