Wicked has defied gravity and flown to the top of the box office in its opening weekend. The film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical raked in $114 million to grab the top spot!

Gladiator II, the other major new release of the week, finished second with $55.5 million.

Red One ($13.3 million), Bonhoeffer. Pastor. Spy. Assassin ($5.1 million), and Venom: The Last Dance ($4 million) rounded out the top five.

I found Wicked to be delightful ride of colors and whimsey and the music will Wisk you away! It’s a long movie though at 2 hours and 45 minutes so you might want to go with a large drink! Wicked – Official Trailer – YouTube
