One of the greatest players of MLB has died. Reds fans were shocked by the news last night that Pete Rose has died at the age of 83. No word on the cause of death. According to ESPN, Rose was found by a family member. An investigation is underway but there were no signs of foul play.

To this day, Rose holds the record as MLB’s all-time hits leader. In addition, the three time world series champ holds the record for the most hits at 4,256. Most singles at 3,215. An incredible number of career at-bats 14,053! ‘Charlie Hustle’ as he was known will always hold a special place in Reds fans’ hearts. And regardless of his past mistakes of betting on the game of baseball, which he admitted to, I think it’s time he’s finally included into the Baseball Hall of Fame~
