One Of John Lennon’s Last Handwritten Letters Will Be Sold At Auction. Read It’s Haunting Message…

In mid 1980, John Lennon wrote a letter to his cousin. What is pretty creepy is that within the multiple page handwritten letter, Lennon mentioned that he “hopes life begins at 40”. Lennon turned 40 that year, but tragically was gunned down on December 8th, 1980. He would never have his question answered. Now, that four page letter will be sold at auction via RR Auction, expected to fetch as much as $50,000 according to some. The high bid today stands at $7,500. Letters like this, especially handwritten, fascinate me. In today’s day and age of texting and emails, it’s really interesting to see someone’s thoughts put down on paper…especially someone like John Lennon.
