Elton John is on the mend from a severe eye infection. He shared it’s left him with limited vision in one eye.

The “Rocket Man” singer shared a health update on social media, revealing he’s been dealing with an eye issue for quite some time now.

Elton says his road to recovery has been “an extremely slow process and it will take some time before sight returns to the impacted eye.”

Elton is in good spirits though because he can’t wait to share his new book of stories and memories not just from his final tour/ but from never-before-seen insights of his life on the road throughout his career.   The sharing begins September 24th!
