Well if you missed seeing U2 perform at The Sphere in Las Vegas recently, here’s your chance for an encore performance…kind of. A state of the art film titled, ‘V-U2 An Immersive Film at Sphere Las Vegas’ will have fans feeling like U2 is actually there! Here’s the part that stinks, the flick is only airing at the Sphere in Vegas. When I first saw this story I got excited and thought it was going to be a national release. Nope. I understand that the technology they used in filming this and the fact that it will play at the Sphere is the reason it won’t be released elsewhere (at least as far as we know). But why not make a version that U2 fans EVERYWHERE can pay to see? Not like Bono needs the money, but you know they’d sell a helluva lotta tickets across the U.S. and even worldwide. According to Ultimate Classic Rock, The Edge co-directed the film and as you’ll see in the trailer below, has the perfect line…
