Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar will hand over what he calls his “badass” “rock star” LaFerrari to the highest bidder at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Fall Auction in October. Vroom Vroom baby!
Flashback: Hagar was one of 499 people invited to purchase a LaFerrari, the premier model from the luxury Italian carmaker. He flew to Italy and worked with the company’s design team to select a vanilla-colored exterior and black and white interior.
Zoom in: That car was featured in Hagar’s iconic “I Can’t Drive 55” music video — and helped him score the lead singer gig in Van Halen!
The car will be auctioned off on the eve Sammy’s 77th birthday. And you know that car has a whole lotto history to it. Find out why Sammy is ready to sell his pride n joy ride car here: Sammy Hagar hopes his Ferrari LaFerrari brings a record sum at auction (usatoday.com)
