There are so many special, memorable, unforgettable, and goosebumps moments during the running of the Indy 500! For me the military flyover can make me cry like a baby. And for many the dropping of the green flag can bring chills. So, whose famous face has the honors this year? Well actually it’s two famous faces.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has announced SOME famous faces that will climb the flag stand on Sunday to wave the green flag at the start of the 108th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
Academy Award nominee for “Elvis” Austin Butler and Jodie Comer, the leading costars in the 2023 film “The Bikeriders,” will serve as honorary starters on Race Day at IMS.
The movie “The Bikeriders” is set on 2 wheels but they’ll soon witness the greatest four wheeled race in the world!
The green flag is scheduled to drop at 12:45 p.m. this Sunday, May 26th! Let’s enjoy Austi Butler now in the role that earned him an Academy Award nom for best actor. Courtesy Youtube: Baz Luhrmann’s ELVIS | Official Trailer (youtube.com)
