Former NFL Player OJ Simpson Has Passed Away From Cancer At Age 76

Former NFL running back OJ Simpson passed away from cancer yesterday in Las Vegas at age 76, his family announced this morning.

Nicknamed “The Juice”, Simpson began his professional football career in 1969 with the Buffalo Bills, before finishing it with the San Francisco 49ers in 1979.

Despite numerous achievements and accolades on the field, Simpson is most remembered around the world regarding the 1994 murder of his former wife Nicole Brown, her friend Ron Goldman, and the entire trial that ensued a year later in 1995.

Although he was acquitted of the murders, Simpson was eventually sentenced to nine years in prison in 2008 for his role in a robbery case.
